The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings
The Witcher is originally a book series created by Polish Andrzej Sapkowski. The games are of course based on these books, and begins immediately after the book’s end. The Witcher is about Geralt of Rivier. Geralt is a witcher or demon hunter, with special powers.
At the end of the book series, he is nearly killed but rescued by the last surviving witcher-colleagues in the video game. Too bad for Geralt, he has no memories at all from his life or his past adventures after the assassination attempt, which we as players had to help him cope with.
The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings seems to be just as epic and exciting as number one and should not be missed for any reasons. However, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings is a direct continuation of The Witcher, so that the game can be difficult to access for players who are not familiar with the franchise in the past. The chock-full story in the first game should be lived through in order to be able to enjoy The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings fully.
