Metal Gear Solid 5 Coming?

MGS

“Metal Gear Solid” came out in 1998 and is the first game of the series, created by Japanese game developer Hideo Kojima. The game was developed to play the PlayStation and released later to the PC. The game was a huge success and contributed to the success of PlayStation.

Now the British gaming magazine PSM3 seems to have come across information about Hideo Kojima plans for Metal Gear Solid 5. Although the legendary Kojima said that MGS4, which came out three years ago along with the PS3 launch, was the last book in the series but the pressure from the fans for a follow-up is enormous.

According to PSM3, Kojima will show off two new features at E3, one of which is the fifth part of the MGS series. It remains to be seen whether this is true but what is clear is that a spin-off titled Metal Gear Solid: Rising is coming to both Xbox 360 and PS3 next year. Hideo Kojima is involved in this production which is an action game with Raiden as the main character.

The second innovation may be a version of MGS designed for Sony’s newly launched portable console NGP. Hideo Kojima demonstrated Metal Gear Solid 4 on the NGP when Sony announced the console earlier this year.
